Healthcare Economics Calculator

Developed for ETHICON J&J Medical, this interactive health economics calculator was designed to show potential hospital wide cost benefit scenarios supporting the adoption of advanced sutures with the benefit of saving time during closure, and reducing surgical site infections.

The tool allows for a comprehensive configuration of the hospital’s typical case mix and costs, and uses data from accepted meta-analysis studies to calculate potential cost benefits amounting from saved OT time and reduced readmissions. A tailored cost benefit narrative is then generated for the hospital.    

The tool also included a complete interactive product detail to reinforce key messages.
